She was predeceased by: her husbands, Benton Hood, Sr. and George Alexander; her daughter Dianne Sitton; and her grandson Paul Cobb. She is survived by: her children, Victor Hood (Pam), Benton Hood, Jr. (Wanda Beebe) and Scottie Hood; her grandchildren, Kevin Cobb (Heather), Leigh-Ann Parrish (Patrick), Christy Davis (Kevin), Mandy Hood (Ryan Williams) and Jackie Przybylowicz (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Chelsea Cobb, Olivia Terrell (Jay), Zeke Cobb (Ashley), Jake Cobb, Porter Cobb, Salem Cobb (Mary Jane), Juliette Cobb, Gavin Parrish, Elizabeth Parrish, Mollie Davis, Savanna Davis, Weston Davis, Bensen Hood, Jamina Williams, Miller Przybylowicz and Jackson Przybylowicz; and her great great grandchildren, Jenna, Roxie, Daylan, Shy and Sawyer.

The family requests that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Hood requested that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

“We grew up in Lookout Valley and my brother and I were friends with the Hood family. Mr and Mrs Hood was always very nice to all the kids in the valley. Indeed Mrs Hood was a gracious lady. I have many wonderful memories of Mr and Mrs Hood, Diane, Vic, and Benton. My prayers are with the Hood family. Joe Dobbs”
