She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Tatum; her daughter Verna Strickland; and her grandson Jason. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Simms, Kenneth Strickland (Linda), Marjorie Strickland, Bonita Bryant (Rodney) and Bernard Waller (Joyce). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
