He is survived by: his children, Channon Hamilton (Todd), Pam Brannon (Sean) and Jonathan Cate (Julieann); and his siblings, Mike Cate (Janie), Doris Browne (Milton) and Marilyn Bevers (Mike). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
