He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kenneth and Nell Gray Hereford; and his grandparents, John William "Dick", Tera Markham Hereford, Riley and Locker Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tate Hereford; his daughter Deanna Marie Nelson (Bruce); his granddaughters, Kristina Nelson Hamill (David), Katie Nelson and Dawn; his sister Patricia Hereford Webb; his niece Lisa Webb O'Lalde (Joe); his cousin Ann Fort Segraves (Joe); his sister-in-law Cathy Tate Campbell; his nephew Paul J. Campbell; his uncle Joe; and his aunt Joyce Hobbs Knowles.
In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate contributions to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, Stewart Cemetery, East Brainerd Church of Christ, or the charity of your choice.
