Katherine Clemons Sorrick Obituary
Katherine Pollard Clemons Sorrick, “Tutu”, passed away on August 16, 2020. She was born on April 15, 1934 and was one of fourteen children, born to Charles Lesly and Elsie Pollard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sorrick, son, James E. Clemons, Jr., and several siblings.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Lynn Clemons, Randy (Cindy) Clemons, and Tammy Sue (Ray) Scott, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Katherine’s Life will be held privately in the Chattanooga National Cemetery On Thursday August 27, 2020 at 10:30 am. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home for a visitation on Wednesday August 26th from 5 to 8 pm.
In keeping with current Hamilton County mandates and CDC measures we ask that all persons remain vigilant with social distancing measures and that masks be worn at all times while on the premises.
Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
