It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine A. Roark of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Ledford and Ruth Rennow Ledford; her husbands, Albert Buchanan and Ruel Roark; her sons, Lawrence Weaver and Myron Weaver; and her siblings, Alton Ledford, James Ledford and Doris Messenger.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Dupenthauler; her nieces and nephews, Robbie Weaver, Tim Buchanan and Steve Buchanan; and her grandchildren, Vicki Weaver, Clay Weaver, Kathy Weaver, Rachel Weaver, Zachary Weaver, Randy Kirby, Jeremy Murray, Tyler Higdon, Taylor Buchanan, Logan Buchanan and Wesley Buchanan.
In lieu of flowers she would want you to hug someone and leave them better than when you found them.
