She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Branch and Emma Mae Branch; and her children, Harold, Melvin, David, Michael Benford, Alex Freeman and Olivia Benford.
She is survived by: her children, Emma Benford, Sandra Benford, Nathan Benford (Rena), Betty Freeman, Norman Freeman, Lois Martin (Kenneth), Walter Lindsey (Hilda), Ronnie Readus (Sandra), Gregory Pittman (Gwen), Sheila Whitlock and Terrence Jones; and her sisters-in-law, Lena Graves and Norma Jean Hughley.
