She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Shannon and George Shannon; her brothers, George E. Shannon and Willie L. Shannon; and her husband Arthur E. Woods.
She is survived by: her daughter Arlene Renita Woods Harris; and her grandchildren, David and Renita Harris. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dedicated friends.
