She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elijah "Jim" and Parlee Campbell Knowles; her husband Louis Howard, Sr.; her siblings, Thomas Knowles, Sr., Dorothy Jean Knowles and Sarah Elizabeth Jones; her nephews, D'Angelo Knowles and James Anthony Jones; and her niece Doritha Cook.
She is survived by: her daughter Kenya Knowles Howard; and her sisters, Georgia Mary Cal of Oceanside and Patricia Knowles Tumblin (John) of Chattanooga. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends; special friends.
