She was predeceased by: her husband J. C.; her son Jim; her sister-in-law Noreen Evans; her niece Jane Hixson; and her sister Nell Scruggs of San Antonio, TX..
She is survived by: her son Dr. Chris Grainger (Patti); her grandchildren, Todd Grainger (Teresa), Douglas Grainger (Abby) and Martha Beavers of Denver, CO.; her great grandchildren, Luke Grainger, Ruby Jane Beavers, Patrick Grainger, James Grainger and Sam Grainger; her sister-in-law Sue Bowman of Bluefield, WV.; and her nieces and nephews, Reggie Hixson, Linda Murphy, James Murphy, Laura, Charlie, Casey and Dana Walden of Chattanooga.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date to be announced due to the pandemic.
