With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Daniels of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tiny Shropshire Porter and James Clifford Porter; her husband Horry Wesley Daniels; her brother Dallas C Porter (Buddy) of Decatur, GA.; her son Paul Daniels (Marcia Depp) of Melbourne, FL; her grandson Jordan Daniels of Melbourne; her nephews, Tim Herring of New Port Richey, FL, Rick Herring of Augusta, GA and Jay Porter of Woodstock, GA; her niece Jane Herring Moody of Milledgeville, GA; and her close friends, Doris Price and Jennifer Petty.
A private graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at a suitable future date, once the pandemic is better controlled.
Joyce would encourage memorial gifts may be made to your favorite charity, as there are many in need during these trying times.
