He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. White Sr. and Georgia Moore; and his grandmother Julia Moore. He is survived by: his wife Margaret D. White; his children, Kimberly White Johnson and Joseph C. (White III); his grandsons, James L. Jackson of Atlanta, GA and Justin L. Jackson of Atlanta, GA; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Wisener and Jacquelyn Bonner (Le Farron) of Chattanooga, TN; and his godchildren, Clarence Myree, Marthel and William Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
