He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Hillis Sauceman; and his granddaughter Julie Ann Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wunderlich Peers; his children, Brook Taylor and Bill Peers (Teresa); and his sister Joy Elizabeth Johnson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
