He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nelson Parris and Patricia Kathleen Morgan Parris; and his siblings, Thomas "Buster" Parris, Teresa Ann Parris and Kathleen Parris.

He is survived by: his brother Jimmy "Jimbo" Parris; and his nephew Duane Parris. He is also survived by five cousins; other relatives and friends.
