He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred O'Connell and Margaret O'Connell. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Wilson (Bob), Frederick "Sudsy" O'Connell, Dan O'Connell, Margaret Walter, Philip O'Connell (Megan) and Regina O'Connell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as nine (9) great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Jude Catholic Church (930 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415-3554). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
