He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Townsend and Mary Akins; his sons-in-law, Frank Watkins of Chattanooga and Jon Hatchett; his grandchildren, Tory Bonner, Thomas Hatchett, Maxwell Hatchett, Cortney Watkins, Donovan Savoy, Arianna Standard of Chattanooga and Cierra Jade Akins of Chattanooga; and his siblings, Robert Akins and Christine Chandler. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
