He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulet Johnson and Eunice Johnson; and his siblings, Mildred Roden, Estes Johnson and Bill Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Coots, Wanda Smith, Pamela Turner, Tracy Brazell (John) and Steven Johnson (Kim); and his sister Janece Allgood. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews.
