John West Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2022, at the age of 72, John West of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark West, MD and Ruthann West; his daughter Molly West; and his sister Lucy Francis. He is survived by: his daughter Harriet; his wife Beverly West; his children, JD and Emily West; his stepchildren, Benjamin Gordon and Jennifer Gordon, MD; his brother Michael West, MD; and his grandchildren, Clara Casper, Campbell Casper, Harriet Casper and William Minor.
The ASHRM Advisory Board recognized his lifetime of contributions to the field of health care risk management with the ASHRM Distinguished Service Award for Lifetime Achievement in Health Care Risk Management, the Presidential Citation and Journal Award for Writing Excellence.
