He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peden and Edna Peden (Wanda Peden). He is survived by: his wife Alta Peden; his children, Doug Peden (Marcy) of Chattanooga and Stacy Scholtz (David) of Chattanooga; and his sisters, Linda Sullivan (Tilman-David Eskew) of Shannon, MS and Alice Artime (Greg) of Harrison. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
