With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Steven Inman of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Steven Inman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie; his parents, Willa Dean and John Dee Inman; and his sister Spring Shelton. He is survived by: his children, Kendall Inman (Lisa), Stephanie Jackson (Marlin) and John Inman, Jr. (Rachel); his grandchildren, Nicole Finlayson (Garron), Heather Golden (Jimmy), Jacob Inman, Jordan Jackson (Brett), Madison Floyd (Dakoda), Loryn York (Drake), Jonathan "Gaines" Inman (Summer), McKenzie Inman (Jake), Reagan Inman and Miah Inman; and his siblings, Nanette Black (Jimmy), Cheryl Strickland (Tim) and Benny Inman (Diane). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tiftonia Holiness Church (163 Wauhatchie Pike, Chattanooga, TN 37419). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
