He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Belle Jones of Huntsville, AL.. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Lester, Odell Lockhart, Evelene Montford, Johnnie Ann Montford, Aurelia Lane, Leonard Montford and Ricky Powell; his granddaughters, Aurelia Phillips of Huntsville, AL and Latonya Jackson; and his great grandchild Zoey Jackson. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
