He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Almon Hawkins and Mildred Walding Hawkins; his sisters, Dorothy Lee Hawkins and Peggy Hawkins Ayers; and his brother-in-law Wayne Moore.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Hawkins Moore, Becky Rundles (Mike) and David Hawkins; and his brother-in-law Tommy Ayers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
