He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert L. Dillard Sr. and Birmingham of Alabama; his brothers, Robert L. Dillard Jr. and James Price Dillard; his mother-in-law Deloria A. Westfield; his brothers-in-law, Louis Chislom, Jr. and James S. Westfield; his wife Valerie Akins Dillard; his children, Jermicah O. Jennings, Johnathan Dillard (LaShawn), Tammi Wilson (Devon) of Southfield, MI., Deidre (Duane), Dilwork and Angel Dillard; his siblings, Margaret E. Jones, Shirley Ann Hayes, Barbara Ann Dillard, Lorraine Dillard and Andrew D. Dillard (Joann); his grandson DeWayne Middleton; and his close friends, Frank and Jamie Otis. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
