He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Baskin and Ida Baskin; his wife Bertha Lee Baskin; his daughters, Linda Faye Baskin and Hazel Cunningham; and his siblings, Louise Lovelace, Eva Mae Allen, Leroy Baskin, Thomas Bass and J. W. Bass.
He is survived by: his daughters, Geneva Garner (Reginald), Rose Greene (Thomas) and Mary White (Steve); his son-in-law Anthony Cunningham; his brother-in-law Joe Jefferson; his nephew Kenneth Bass; and his friend Dwayne Dickerson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
