She is survived by: her husband William B. Cole, Jr.; her siblings, June Coopwood, Brenda Keith, Jim Simmons (Diane) and Bonny Cothren (David); her children, Bob Ratcliffe, Sandy Bowen (Jack) and Don Ratcliffe; and her stepchildren, Linda Varnell (Don), Sandy Cole, Bill Cole (Selena) and Donald Cole (Paula). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The second of five siblings, she graduated from Charity Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse.
