It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Michelle McCabe Grant (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 23, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Aloysius; her former husband Louis Marchetti; her brother-in-law Don Rives; and her nephew Michael Sheran. She is survived by: her parent Gladys Bentley Carmel McCabe; her husband Ian Grant of Chattanooga, TN.; her sister Anne Rives of Lexington, NC; her children, James Marchetti (Kim) of Rochester, NY, David Marchetti of Burnt Hills, NY and Lynne Marchetti of Chattanooga, TN; her stepdaughters, Megan Brebner (Mark) of Tauranga and Philippa Grant (Chris Norman) of Sydney, Australia; her niece Heather Severino (Dean) of Greensboro, NC; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Marchetti, Kenny Geer, Carolyn Marchetti, Gabriella Marchetti, Jack Marchetti, Samuel Brebner, Rebecca Brebner, Rachel Brebner, Tamati Norman and Tui Norman.
