She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde. She is survived by: her children, Connie Martin (Mike) of Harrison, TN and Gary Brooks (Sheila) of Harrison, TN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Tapley (Joel), Jacy Harris (Mike) and Brent Barber (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Kristen Reece (Jonny), Mackenzie Tapley, Patrick Barber and MJ Harris; and her great great grandchildren, Jonah Reece and Malachi Reece. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Donations in Joan's name to Hospice of Chattanooga, in lieu of flowers, would be a lovely gesture.
