She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Fox and Winifred Fox of Coshocton; and her sister Sharon Emerson of Decatur, GA.. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Pinky" Blackburn; her stepdaughter Malinda Blackburn; and her grandsons, Joshua and Jarrett Blackburn. She is also survived by three sons.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga located at 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
