It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy George Hickman (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy George Hickman, Jr. (Javota Hickman); his parents, James Cleatis Hickman and Juanita Estelle Hickman; his siblings, Willard, Otis Hickman and Joyce Thornhill; his stepsons, Gary Wayne and Michael Eugene Pugh; and his brother-in-law Dub Daughtery.

He is survived by: his son Michael Gene Hickman; his wife Joyce Dean Hickman; his daughter-in-law Laura Hickman; his stepdaughters, Melody Pendergrass, Deborah Willis and Sharlene Choate; his siblings, Steve Hickman (Pat), Betty Daughtery and Stella Fairbanks (Curtis); and his stepgrandchildren, Wendy Scott (Randy), Misty Pendergrass, Chris Glenn Pugh, Jennifer McDade, Jonathan Elliot, Heather Baker (Clay), Dwayne Vincent, Diane Hengal, Rick Gonzales, Gary Pugh (Carrie) and Melissa Pugh. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
