It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Franklin Wade of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eldridge Wade and Edith Mae Slagle Wade; and his wife Linda Sue Nabors Wade. He is survived by: his children, Scott Wade (Teresa) and Kelley Henley (Clay); his grandchildren, AnDrue Potts (Amber), Wade, Walker (Hailey), Will Henley, Laura Hagemeyer (Peter) and Katie Kiser (Tim); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Willa Potts, Worth and Phillips Kiser; his nephews, Wade and Zachery Mansfield; and his sister Lu Jean Wade Bedard (Christian).

In lieu of flowers: donations in Jimmy's memory can be made to either Hospice of Chattanooga, Prison Prevention Ministries or to the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center Chattanooga.
