He is survived by: his parent Edna Neely-Bettis; his wife Virginia Bettis; his sons, Jimmy Bettis (Marcia) and Troy Bettis (Lana); his grandchildren, Blake Bettis, Lila Bettis, Katie Stead, Ben Stead and Ashley Ateca; and his great grandchild Jude Ateca. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
