The passing of Jerry S. Walls (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Albertville, Alabama leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Revice Walls and Kathryn Chapman Walls; his stepfather David Randolph; his sister Kathryn Rogers; and his father-in-law Waylon Powell.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Powell Walls; his children, Rodney (Pam Walls), Melody (Robert Flowers), Misty (Joey Smith) and Courtney (Clayton Ensminger); his grandchildren, Elijah Walls (Rebecca), Abigail McGlamery (Wade), Savannah Rains, Gabriel Rains, Emma Duggan (Cody), Robert Flowers Jr., Raven Smith (Taylor), Gracyn Smith and Olivia Evans; his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Sawyer Duggan; his mother-in-law Mary Powell; his siblings-in-law, Rex Rogers and Lori Hughes (Mike); and his nieces, Denise Trantham (Bruce) and Michelle Tate (David). He is also survived by cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist - East Chapel (404 S Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37412). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wauhatchie Methodist Church (3401 Cummings Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37419).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in "Gov's" memory can be made to Lookout Valley Lions Club and/or Wauhatchie Methodist Church.
