With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Poe (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Scottsboro, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Poe and Barbara Poe; his siblings, Bob Poe, JoMom, Brenda and Charlotte; his grandchildren, Makenzie Poe and Mason Poe; his cherished Hutch; and his pet Feisty.
He is survived by: his children, Gerry Poe, Ken Poe (Jessica), Steven Poe, Phillip Poe (May), Brianna Poe (Ian Pruitt) and Cody Poe (Elana); his grandchildren, Savannah, Makayla, Wyatt and Jamie; his close friend Lucille Jones; his brother Kenneth Poe (Geraldine); and his pets, Cat, Jack and Jill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
