He is survived by: his wife Mina Sanders Johnson; his sons, Jerry "Tyke" Johnson and Jeff "Rock" Johnson; his daughters-in-law, Judith Gannaway Johnson and Greta Jenkins Johnson; his grandchildren, Abigail Johnson Lawrence, Madeline Johnson, Isaac Johnson and Ryan Johnson; and his grandson-in-law Jacob Lawrence.
