He was predeceased by: his parents, Brooks Bentley and Ruby Bentley. He is survived by: his wife Kitty; his children, Jerry Bruce Bentley, Jr. (Eva), Shirley Bentley, Deborah Alderman (Marty) and Rebecca Avans (Danny); his brother James David Bentley (Catherine); his grandchildren, Brooks Bentley, Travis Bentley, Andrea Beavers, Austin Alderman, Jonathon Alderman, Elyse Avans and Aaron Avans; and his siblings-in-law, Randolph Sticher (Linda) and Celesta Stapp (Frank). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
