She is survived by: her husband Larry Akens; her daughter Elizabeth Cooper (Will) of Apison; her grandsons, Ford Cooper and Grey Cooper; and her brother Bill Mitchell (Elise) of Signal Mountain. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
