She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Praeger and Carrie Will Praeger (Coffman) of Washington, D. C.; and her husband Colonel Charles L. Phillips. She is survived by: her sisters, Elinor Goettel of Southbury, CT and Helen Praeger Young of Palo Alto, CA.; her children, Rebecca Phillips (Carl Whitman), DC of Washington, Lori Goering (Daniel), Berlin, Germany, Dr. Charles Phillips (Yuliya), Dr. Tom Phillips (Martha), Attorney Diana Phillips (Bobby Burns), Dr. Ruth Anne Phillips and Takoma Park, MD; her grandchildren, John, Timothy, Jesse, Mark, David, Jana Goering, Stephanie, Anya, Jessica, Bryce Phillips, Clay and Carrie Will Ludwig; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Luke, Leah, Eliana, Sophia, Noah and Käthe Goering. She is also survived by her six children and their spouses, twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
