It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alex Tucker in Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Tucker and Ora Lee Trammell Tucker; and his sons, Lonnie Joe Tucker and Larry Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Lonnie Mae Tucker; his children, Delta Tucker, DeVilla Tucker (Danielle) and MiaFarrow Tucker; his siblings, Eddie Tucker, Jimmy Tucker, Oliver Tucker and Mattie Wilson (Eddie); and his brother-in-law Walter Mayweather (Mabel). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, members and friends.
