He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Player and Isabell Player; and his siblings, William Player (Imogene), Constance Player and Mary Ida Slaughter (Tony).
He is survived by: his wife Tina Player; his children, Jana Player Pauldin (Wilson), Kyra Williams and Terrad Player; his sisters, Evelyn Lovelady, Ernestine Dunton, Olivia Wilson (Tony) and Carolyn Pollard (Gary); and his grandchildren, Jordan, Aiden, Ian, Evan, James and Kedric Williams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home (1101 Dodds Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the World's Church (2110 Glass St, Chattanooga, TN 37406). A burial will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
