He is survived by: his wife Beverly Knight Markin of Trenton, NJ.; his children, Wendy Dirr (Andrew) and Jamie Waters (West); his grandchildren, Emmalyn, Andrew James Dirr, Blaire, Blaine and Raelyn Waters; his sisters, Nancy Mahler (John) and Sue Sailor (Bob); and his brother-in-law Jeff Markin (Trisha).
