It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Christopher Thomas Makres (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Thomas Makres and Bessie Connell Makres; and his brother Chris Thomas Makres Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Angeline Christine Makres Gann and Theodora Dena Makres Sayne (Mike); and his nephew Adam Reagan Sayne. He is also survived by his family and friends.
