James David Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, at the age of 87, James David Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Brown and Alma Rice Brown; his wife Mary Higdon Brown; and his brothers, William Buster Brown, W. C. Brown and Robert Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Long (Penny), Michael Brown, Debbie Welch (Jimmy), Dianne Payne and Whitney Stone; and his grandchildren, Melissa Spadone, Mindy Long, Miqui Viard, Cayci Norman, Hayley Brown, Bo Welch, Tara Brock, Bill Welch, Michael, Samuel Webb, Beth Stone and Tanner Stone. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
