We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2024, at the age of 90, Howard Corkie Owens of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Owens and Fronia Owens; his wife Virginia Owens (Ruth); his grandson James Brett (Wes); and his siblings, J. R., Lamar Owens, Lorene Grider and Minnie Cannon.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Owens (Linda), Janet Brett (Jim) and Michael Owens (Angela); and his grandchildren, Jake Brett Ksenia, Brittney Murphy (Cole), Jordan Skolfield (Matt), Kendall Cooper (Rem), Zachary Owens and Kaitlyn Randall (Christopher). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
