He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavonne Dollar and Carlos "Red" Dollar; and his brother Paul David. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Hershel Jason Dollar and Jeremiah Eric Dollar; and his siblings, Ray Dollar, Doug Dollar, Mark Dollar and Carolyn D. Strayham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Hershel D. Dollar, age 77, passed on to be with his Lord on November 13, 2018 at a local Chattanooga Alzheimer's Facility.
