He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Hood and Mamie Hood; and his siblings, Edward Hood, James Hood, Carlos Hood, Hoyt Hood and Elizabeth Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hood; his children, Ronald Hood (Terry) and Janet Eaton (Derrick); and his grandchildren, Samantha Sisk (Andrew), Cooper Eaton, Cody Hood (Jena), Dillon Hood (Kelsey), Nathan Hood (Kelsie Yates) and Conner Hood. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
