It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry Grady Jacoway III (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, H. Grady Jacoway, Sr. and C. L. Cummings; and his parent H. Grady Jacoway, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Gayle Patterson (David), Michael Jacoway (Patricia) and Steven Jacoway (Constance); his niece Mary Cummings Jacoway; his nephews, Michael Grayson Jacoway (Ashton), Matthew Jacoway Patterson, Benjamin Mark Jacoway and Evan Thomas Jacoway; and his great-niece Isabelle Freeland Jacoway.

The family requests that donations be made in his memory to McKamey Animal Center, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415, or your favorite charity.

“I only worked with Grady for a brief period of time a couple of years ago, but I have very fond memories of his sweet and loving presence. I remember he would bring in candy and place it in a bowl in the front office just because he liked to see us smile and it usually sparked a brief conversation.
