She was predeceased by: her husband Orville B. Satterfield; her parents, John Huey and Pauline Culpepper Benefield; and her siblings, Bobby Joe Benefield and Shirley Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Wigley-Turner (Zane), Angie Satterfield Jeffers (Gary) and Lisa Satterfield Hamilton (Mike); her grandchildren, Todd Wigley, Scott Wigley, Lindsay Kellis, Kristy Craig, Becky Henry, Tiffany Taylor and Sarah Wells; her brother Charles Benefield (Bettye); and her close friend Joyce Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
