It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Daniel of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Lexington, Mississippi, who passed away on August 12, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Pitchford and Pearl Pitchford; her sons, George W. Ervin, Jr. and Sylvester Daniel, Jr.; and her siblings, Floyd Pitchford, Manuel Pitchford, Leon Pitchford and Carrie Redmond.
She is survived by: her husband Sylvester Daniel, Sr.; her sisters, Rosa Pitchford and Goldie Greer; her siblings-in-law, Vera Bryant, Barbara Harris, Nettie Daniel, Ann Homer, Lynn Gibson, Audrey Daniel, Jimmy Daniel and Ronnie Daniel; her stepdaughters, Vera Daniel and Clementine Daniel; her daughter-in-law Jacqueline Daniel; her grandson Charles Watkins; and her close friend Pauline Hodges. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
