He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Ingram Sexton and Ernest A. Sexton. He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Sexton, Pamela Bastable and Rebecca Green; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Sexton, Neal Bastable and Allen Green; and his nieces and nephews, Brendan Bastable, Suzanne Blackstock, Ginna Ezernack, Cory Duncan, Whitney Morris, Scott Sexton and Sarah Miller.
Jerry donated his body to Emory Hospital in Atlanta to their ALS Research Program.
