He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Jones and Emma Isom Jones; his siblings, Stella Jones Huffman (Paul), Mildred Jones Scott (Irving), Milton Jones (Joan), Jack Jones (Dalah) and Thurman Jones; and his grandson John Gajewski.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Jones; his children, Andrew Jones, Charles Jones (Carla Askonas) and Laura Noyes (Keith); his grandchildren, James West (Bonnie), Virginia Gajewski, Serena Gajewski, Mark Gajewski, Hannah Jones (Roger Brothers), Carolyn Jones, Alice Jones, Ellen Askonas and Elise Askonas; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Lee and Adelaide West.
